Civil Society Acts Beyond Borders’ ‘Advocacy and Media Campaign for CSOs’ training was held on 15 and 16 November. This advanced training provided participants with tools to widen the scope of their advocacy and media campaigns, and develop their competencies in these topics. The event was held in Ramallah, the Palestinian Territories.
15 November’s events began with a review of CSOs. Discussions subsequently delved into a media advocacy overview, followed by a presentation on different forms of advocacy. The second day of the training focused more wholly on advocacy. Presentations concerned with advocacy tools, different contexts where advocacy may be used, and methods to frame message development were made. The two day training deepened participants’ understanding of the aforementioned topics and broadened their breadth of skills and knowledge.
