Relation to Future Worlds Center
Partners with Future Worlds Center in Youth Activism Project.
The Soma Akriton is an independent, democratic and modern organization appealing to the youth. Its main aims being to offer knowledge and new ideas to the youth, to reinforce the ideals if good citizenship and to raise awareness of environmental issues. Soma Akriton pursues 5 areas of interest: Nature Exploration, Protection of the environment, Civil Defence, Personal Growth, General knowledge. The last 7 years, Some Akriton also focuses a lot in issues like racism, peace building and bi-communal activities.
