Participants will also be teachers from the partner countries and a guest speaker from sub-Saharan Africa who is highly respected and actively engaged in promoting the MDGs. A component of this symposium will be to critically reflect on each participating country’s progress with regards to integrating development education and the MDGs to the school curriculum. Furthermore, the symposium will invite representatives of the Ministries of Education and the teacher training institutes to share their experience and positions.
