'Co-Laboratories of democracy is a term originally coined by systems scientist Aleco Christakis.
The term co-laboratory is preferred over the term workshop, because it highlights an important distinction: The knowledge comes from the participants.
The actual events are also referred to as SDDP; they are a refinement of the same process, previously referred to as Interactive Management.
