Short Bio
Ekaterina Maximova is currently a student of the European Politics and Communication degree at the European University Cyprus. She was a member of the spin-doctors team who won the government elections in Chelyabinsk (Russia) in 2015. In 2013, after working in China for the 3 years as a model, she became actively involved in charity. Along with the assistance of her mother, she opened the first dog shelter in Chelyabinsk, which provides free medicines and training for the dogs. Being aware of the environment during the last year of her High School, her classmates and Katerina organized the green movement for youths (from 6 to 10 years old) which aimed to raise awareness about ecological problems and suggest and implement specific actions to safe the environment, such as planting trees and cleaning streets. Nowadays, this movement grew from the school event to the local one. Today, not only youths help to clean the streets from the trash, but also adults became aware of this issue.
