[[Technology for Peace|Technology for Peace's]] [[Internet Training Workshop]] was held 20-23 July, 1998 in Nicosia, Cyprus.  This training workshop began with an introduction to computer technology and communication, the internet, and Microsoft Windows 95.  Once participants had a sound foundation in the aforementioned basics, trainers introduced the [[Technology for Peace|Technology for Peace Website]] and its capabilities, e-mail, Internet Relay Chat (IRC), and utilizing the internet for research.  After the training workshop an informative report was produced to further disseminate information provided in this training workshop.
