Ms. Loredana Mihalca is a psychologist at The “Expert” Center – Center of Psychological Counseling, Department of Psychology, “Babeş-Bolyai” University, Cluj-Napoca. She has a License in psychology and a Master degree in Psychological Counseling and Psychotherapy at “Babeş-Bolyai” University, Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. Since 2004, she is a PhD student with the topic “Psycho-pedagogical aspects of the design and evaluation of educational software“ and she is a member of a multidisciplinary team that creates educational software for children. Also she is a course instructor at a national program “ Magister” specialized in the course called “Educational software for pre-schools and pupils.” Ms. Mihalka visited Cyprus between January and February 2006 as well as between September and December 2006. During her stay she worked on three projects: (a) Further development of the [[Mental Attributes Profiling System]] known as MAPS; (b) Joined the team of scientists for the “Hibernation” project, which is a collaboration between the ]]New Media Lab]] of [[Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute|CNTI]] and the [[Knowledge Management Research Center]] in Germany; (c) Development of a new project regarding the evaluation of school readiness.
