The workshop took place in Tel Aviv on the 11th and 12th of August 2013. The first day of the workshop on Managing Staff and Volunteers in CSOs concentrated upon fundamentals such as: mananging staff and volunters, management skills and models of managing staff. The second day of the workshops focused on management styles, leadership skills, cross-cultural dimensions in management and staff development.
The two day “Managing Staff and Volunteers in Civil Society Organizations” workshop commenced on August 11, 2013 in Tel Aviv, Israel.  As part of [[Act Beyond Borders|Civil Society Acts Beyond Borders]], this workshop aimed to impart important and applicable skills to Israeli civil society actors. The first day’s agenda provided an overview of staff and volunteer management in a CSO setting, and taught participants valuable managerial skills. The subsequent day, events presented management skills through interactive exercises, cross-cultural dimensions to management, staff development techniques, and leadership skills. Like other [[Series of Basic Civil Society Strengthening Workshops|Civil Society Acts Beyond Borders workshops]], this event utilized hands on and interactive techniques to teach participants relevant skills.
The activities which were included in the training gave the participants a hands-on experience. In sum, participants expressed their satisfaction with the knowledge gained during the workshop.
