MISnTED Ltd. was an umbrella company created by Yiannis Laouris and George Vakanas in 1991. In 1992 Maria Symeonides joined as the third key partner. The three pioneers were responsible for the envisioning, designing and implementation of CYBER KIDS and The Multimedia Factory. The three original founders donated 30% of its shares/profits to the newly established Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute with which the company collaborated in educational and multimedia research. The Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute was in charge of developing the Cyber Kids Curriculum, which received a number of international and national awards such as:
