The Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute has pioneered as early as 1995 in the organization of probably one of the first ever video conferences with other countries discussing innovation. The event was made possible with the support of CYTA that tested new equipment and new processes. It took place as part of the ongoing project Innovation-Technology-Social Progress Fair (Έκθεση Καινοτομίας Τεχνολογίας Κοινωνικής Προόδου ).
