The title Senior IT Manager is reserved for the Head of the IT Support Unit and/or any other person in charge of high level operations within the IT sector of the organization.

- Keep all systems up and running at all times.
- Test continuously all systems, websites and programs running on Associates' computers to ensure their smooth and efficient operation.
- Introduce and train new associates and interns on the Basic ICT Skills required at FWC.
- Introduce and train current and new associates and interns on how to take full advantage and use efficiently all technological infrastructure of the organization.
- Supervise all people's work on their computers to ensure that they respect all rules regarding band-width usage, anti-virus, backups etc.
- Research and recommend software tools to management.

Rights and Usage of IT Experts
In order to be able to fulfil his duties, the Senior IT Manager has access to approximately 10% of the time of every technically gifted person in the organization.
Hours and environment
Heads of Units have responsibilities that require their nearly 24h availability. They therefore have the right to arrange their own schedules and also work from home. They usually have to work under stress and meet strict deadlines, which in many cases might mean tha they are required to working longer and later hours or weekends.
