Xenia served as Vice-President of the European Youth Forum and Chair of the European Steering Committee for the Structured Dialogue. She is currently working as research officer at the UCY in the Proposals Preparation Office as expert on European grants. She was also a candidate for the 2011 parliament elections with the Democratic Rally.
