We are situated in a disadvantageous rural area. There are many unemployed people, divorced families and immigrants in Tekkeköy. For that reason most of the students do not remain their educations at school and drop out of the school. Economy is mainly based on agriculture. We have trainings on many fields for students out of school, adults and young people in our centre. We aim at decreasing the social and economic risks in the society by providing them education. We would like to make We have vocational trainings for women and young people in order to make them active in labour market. We provide school education for adults and students who drop out of their school for some reasons. After the education, they can go studying at university. We also have ICT trainings to our trainees for making them efficient in using today's technology. We have programme for the students with special needs(dyslexia, lingual disorders, deaf, blind and orthopedic disorders). We want to get them ready for the social life and we also try to integrate the immigrants in society.
