Clara was born in Singapore and has a background in comparative literary studies. Having worked across a range of cultural contexts, especially in Eastern Europe, she strives to bridge social issues with the arts. She will start her doctoral studies at University College London this fall. Her thesis will (provisionally) explore the relationship between writing and self-creation.
