Description

The Cyprus Safer Internet Center organizes every year the Safer Internet Helpline Trainings. These trainings aim to educate people from different backgrounds in order to gain the knowledge on how to be safe online. However, these trainings are also organized for the existing operators of the Helpline. Throughout these trainings people learn about the existing services that exist in Cyprus, like the helpline, the hotline and the cybercrime unit of the police. Moreover, they learn about the online dangers, protection advices, how to deal with young children in relation to online dangers and also the laws that exist in Cyprus. The trainings are combining both theory and practical exercises.
