}}==Biography==Nicolina Markidou has been with the Future Worlds Center since March 2009. Since March 2010 she has been coordinator of  the EU-funded project “MDGs-Media for Development Goals” concerned with the creation of media materials for the MDGs. She also contributes to the  EU-funded project ‘TeachMDGs’ aiming at the promotion of the MDGs in the formal educational sector. 
Nicolina had  initially collaborated with the organization as an associate for the development of a teachers’ manual in the framework of the EU-funded project “Accessing Development Education” and since July 2009 she has been working with the organization on several projects. During 2010-2011 she had been coordinator of the EU-funded project “Jumpstart the Peace”, aiming at promoting communication and collaboration between Greek-Cypriot and Turkish-Cypriot youth in Cyprus, but also contributed to Development Education trainings and activities in the framework of the EU-funded project “Accessing Development Education” and “Youth Activism” project funded by the UNDP.
Nicolina is a holder of BA degree in Greek Philology (specialization in Classics) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and an MA Degree in Cultural and Media Studies from University of the West of England, Bristol. Nicolina has worked as a teacher of Greek Language to migrant students in Nicosia. She is interested in many social issues and cultural politics of Cypriot society and ways of dealing with them through formal and informal education.
